Cape Town is undoubtedly a highlight in any visit to South Africa. Where is South Africa?

South Africa lies on the southernmost tip of Africa and conatins several different unique ecosystems. It is one of the most geographically diverse countries in Afria, bordered Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe & Mozambique. The surrounding oceans and plateaus contribute to a sub-tropical and agreeable climate allowing for cool and pleasant temperatures.

Things to know before you arrive?

South Africa is an extremely popular holiday destination in Africa therefore it’s quite easy to travel around. Language shouldn’t be a problem if you can speak English and most larger cities have a likeness to Western countries – soon it will feel like your home away from home.

This country is great for tourists travelling on a budget as all accommodation types are affordable and food is as cheap as it is diverse. Public transport isn’t the most reliable way to get around so we recommend budgeting for a car rental and planning an itinerary based on road trips.
